The DSO Toolbox is a collection of applications and services designed to modernize the business of DSOs. It is built upon a modular architecture, enabling the implementation of specific applications and the integration with existing components of the DSO's legacy systems. Promoting interoperability, it is designed in such a way as to avoid vendor locks. It not only enables DSOs to digitise their operations, but also to request flexibility services from distributed resources.
The DSO toolbox is a software suite that includes (but is not limited to) the following KERs:
- Critical Event Prevention Application/ Loss Reduction Application
- Fault Detection Application (FDA)
- Algorithms for PV generation forecasting
- Algorithms for grid observability: artificial neural network based state estimation
Main Target Group
Small-scale DSOs
