Estabanell presented the FEMS technology to the EnerTIC Awards in Spain and got finalist!
The FEMS (Factory Energy Management System) is a technological equipment that monitors, controls, and manages intensive energy processes and consumption. With that it is possible to take advantage of the potential for flexibility in the generation, consumption, and storage of electricity. The system has been developed in the course of the FEVER project.
The EnerTIC Awards
The EnerTIC Awards is an initiative that allows to identify, reward and disseminate success stories and good practices, which serve as a reference to advance and raise awareness about the need to commit to sustainability and technology in different areas. The main objective of these awards is to identify, reward and disseminate:
- Innovative technological projects carried out by companies and organizations committed to energy competitiveness and sustainability.
- Public or private initiatives that implement and apply new technologies to improve their processes, be more competitive, efficient and sustainable.
- Managers who contribute to implementing the use of innovative technological solutions to improve energy competitiveness and sustainability in their companies or organizations.
- Committed professionals who throughout their career have promoted good practices in their sector, so that their actions serve as inspiration and example to other managers.
It was a fierce competition with very big players competing in the Smart Grids category. In the end, Estabanell was unfortunately not awarded the price but received a diploma for presenting this great technology in the finals.
